Qwen-AI.chat is an independent, unofficial website. It is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Alibaba Group, Alibaba Cloud, QwenCloud, or the Qwen team. Qwen and related product names belong to their respective owners.
What this site does
We publish English-language explanations, model references, API and pricing guides, comparisons, download guidance, and practical use-case material about the Qwen ecosystem. Each page is intended to answer a distinct question rather than repeat the same broad introduction.
The site also offers an independent chat interface when capacity and the configured provider are available. That interface is not the official Qwen Chat product. A model discussed in an article is not automatically the model serving the public chat.
At the August 4, 2026 verification cutoff, the public chat was configured to send inference requests to Fireworks AI using accounts/fireworks/models/qwen3p7-plus. Provider, model, limits, and availability can change. The current data path and retention details are maintained in the Privacy Policy.
Editorial and sourcing standards
- Primary sources first: current first-party documentation, model cards, repositories, changelogs, pricing pages, and lifecycle notices are preferred for factual claims.
- Exact identities: hosted model IDs, downloadable checkpoints, providers, regions, endpoints, and product plans are kept separate.
- Clear evidence labels: vendor-published specifications are not presented as independent benchmark or runtime results.
- Freshness over volume: a strong existing page is updated when its intent still fits, instead of creating a near-duplicate that could compete with it in search.
- Corrections stay visible: material changes are reflected in the page, its verification date, and its sources.
How tests are reported
A page says that a test was completed only when the request or workflow was actually run. A useful test record identifies the date, provider and route, exact model ID or checkpoint, relevant settings, input, observable output, and important limitations. Secrets, personal data, and API keys are not published.
If a meaningful test requires an unavailable login, subscription, region, credential, or legal acceptance step, we stop and disclose that boundary. Documentation-based code is labeled as such; it is not called independently validated merely because the syntax looks correct.
Independence and funding
The website may display advertising or contain commercial links. Those relationships do not change the stated editorial method, and they do not make this site an official Qwen service. Any material commercial relationship should be disclosed where it affects a page.
Privacy and safe use
No account is required for the public chat, but no-account access does not mean that no data is processed. Prompts, responses, optional images, network and security signals, cookies, advertising data, and contact messages have different purposes and retention rules. Do not submit confidential, regulated, or sensitive information. Read the Privacy Policy, Security page, and Terms of Service before using the chat.
Corrections and contact
To report an outdated model ID, unsupported claim, broken source, accessibility issue, or other correction, use the contact page or email info@qwen-ai.chat. Include the page URL and the first-party source that supports the correction when possible.
